Managed Paths and Content Library names

I received an ambiguous error today in SharePoint 2010 when I was trying to create library with the name of “reports”
Error Details:
“reports” cannot be used as a site name. Site names cannot contain certain reserved words and cannot begin with an underscore. Please enter a different name.
Correlation ID: {1a03fa2f-38f5-43fe-bdd7-2d8b62e78493}
Date and Time: 3/11/2011 3:19:43 PM
After some digging I found limited help, but an idea here: http://www.sharepointoverflow.com/questions/7358/sharepoint-reserved-words
That got me to think about looking at my managed paths. Managed paths are in Central Admin - > Application Management -> Manage Web Applications -> select a web application from the list, The ribbon will now allow you to click “Managed Paths”.
 Once I got there sure enough “reports” was there as a “wildcard inclusion”. Once I removed “reports” from the managed path list I was able to create the Library with the name “reports”. I verified and if you have “reports” as either “wildcard inclusion” or “Explicit inclusion” you will not be able to create a library with the name.
Hope this helps you!

SharePoint 2010 Education

     I figured my first blog would be about getting educated in SharePoint 2010. Most of what I will post in this is from the LinkedIn group "Microsoft Office SharePoint Server - 2007, 2010, ..." discussion "What is the best way to learn SP 2010?". I figure why reinvent the wheel. I've look into this myself before and had a hard time knowing were to begin.

New to SharePoint:

Development:
 Happy education! I'll be adding more to the topic of education as I go through this myself.
